The chalk packaging is made using wind energy and vegan-friendly soy/vegetable inks in a zero-waste facility with a manufacturing process that is Forest Stewardship Council® & Sustainable Forest Initiative® certified.
Compared to the old packaging, Friction Labs has opted for larger packaging that holds 20% more chalk per unit to reduce the packaging needed per ounce of chalk consumed.
To keep chalk fresh, there is still a thin film inner bag which is made from 100% recycled materials and can be recycled again at any soft plastic facility.
